On Site Break Fix

Device down and needs fixing? Our UK wide team of highly trained technicians are on hand, ready to be dispatched directly to the broken device. We carry spare parts and have access to all the latest firmware and updates, ensuring your print hardware is back online as quickly as possible.

Automated Error Alerts

Utilising our monitoring software, our Service Support Team will be alerted to any error codes that appear on the print device. This enables us to pro-actively deal with issues head on, diagnose the fault straight away and get a resolution to the problem without anyone having to contact us.

Automated Meter Readings

Historically an arduous task, but necessary to ensure your bill is as accurate as possible. However now this is all automated directly into our service management system, ensuring you are billed accurately each and every time.

Automated Toner Ordering

Few things are more frustrating than running out of toner when you need to print an important document. Our Service Support Team monitors automatic alerts from your device and remotely tracks toner levels, ensuring a replacement is ready when needed to keep you printing without interruption.

Device Replacement Guarantee

With modern manufacturing, things don’t always go to plan and tech doesn’t always work as it should. That’s why we offer our FUTERA Device Replacement Guarantee - if a device is regularly problematic, we’ll replace it at our expense so you don’t have to worry.

Guaranteed Response Times

We know you want your devices fixed quickly, which is why we guarantee our contractual response times. If we’re ever late to your location, we’ll issue a credit note for each occasion - giving you confidence that we’ll always do our best to be there as quickly as possible.

Firmware Updates

Keeping your tech current and protected with the latest patches, security features and updates is important – which is why we make sure that you are notified for approval and then we deploy the updates to your print devices remotely. Keeping your business secure and operational at all times.

Non-Hardware Issues

With most print and scan devices now connected to the network, issues can arise that affect performance. Our technical experts work with IT teams to diagnose and fix faults that may appear as device failures but actually stem from the network or related software.

End of Life Device Security & Recycling

Once at the end of their useful life, ensuring the appropriate disposal and recycling of the devices is crucial to make sure you not only protect your sensitive data, but the environment too. We put the devices through our multi stage process to ensure data integrity is secured along with components being recycled efficiently.

Hot Swap Devices

We recognise there are some areas of business that require intense access to printers, be that in 24/7 environments, manufacturing, retail and other high value areas. As such we have a range of hot swap devices that can be swapped out, ensuring users are kept functioning whilst our team fixes the faulty device.

User & Company Management

Not only are the devices themselves actively managed, but our wrap around service offering encompasses end-user services and provisions specifically to help the company too.

Service Desk Support

Enabling your staff to spend minimal time having to interact with issues, our UK Service Desk assists our customers to log tickets, troubleshoot issues and escalate jobs to our technical team. Acting as a conduit between our customers and technical support, the Service Desk are also able to provide some technical assistance, provide updates on progress and generally help our customers with whatever they need.

Remote Call Assistance

We want to fix your devices as quickly as possible, so our Technical Team are ready to provide Remote Call Assistance by troubleshooting and delving into issues remotely from our offices. We can resolve around one-third of tickets remotely without our customers having to wait for an onsite technician to arrive, meaning our customers devices are back up and running even quicker.

Account Management

Often overlooked as a standard ‘feature’ of our service offering, having a fantastic and pro-active Account Manager can transform your experience with us. As an Employee Owned business, you can be sure that your Account Manager will work tirelessly for you and keep your best interests at heart whilst genuinely trying to help your business succeed.

Bespoke ‘How-To’ Videos

Most new printers come with in built tutorials and a lengthy digital user manual, however we have found that often these aren’t used as they’re not very user friendly. So we will put together a series of bespoke ‘How-To’ videos for our customers, based on the exact device and configuration that has been purchased.  These can then be distributed round your company, hosted on an Intranet or Sharepoint site or we can host them on a private online channel and accessed via a QR code on the device.

Dedicated Admin Training

Although we’re providing a managed service, we also provide some more advanced Admin Training should you wish. This enables admins to be able to make configuration changes and provide instant assistance in the event of an issue. Not all our customers want this, but for those that do we are here to help and deliver comprehensive training as necessary.

Customised Analytics & Reporting

Whether you have 1 or 1,000 print devices, it’s good to know that the technology is working efficiently and how we are performing as a service provider. We offer a detailed suite of reports and analytics that can provide granular detail or a wide ranging overview, giving us the data to optimise and improve the overall efficiency of the Managed Print Service.

Recycling, devices, circular economy

Recycling

Through the FUTERA toner recycling scheme, all the used toners from printers can be recycled.  They are broken down to raw material form and can be re-used in the manufacture of all sorts of items – including toner cartridges!

WEEE disposal

At the end of a printer or copier’s life, FUTERA partners with recycling plants to ethically dispose of equipment under WEEE directives. Over 90% of each device is reclaimed as raw material, with disposal certified to WEEE standards under our waste transfer licence.

Circular Economy

With proper care, modern printers and copiers often outlast their predecessors. Through the FUTERA Circular Economy programme, they can be refurbished to a high standard instead of being disposed of, ready to serve other offices.
